Charge Nurse / Junior Sister -Paediatric Emergency Department

Should you be the successful candidate you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and experiences as well as your leadership skills in the emergency setting in a kind, professional and positive team environment.

• Provide a high standard of individualised care to children attending the Children's Emergency Department, acting as a role model and supporting the Senior Sister/Charge nurse in driving quality care provision forward
• Be responsible for standards of cleanliness in the Children's Emergency Department in partnership with the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse
• Provide clear clinical leadership to staff, deputising for the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in her/his absence, assisting in meeting the standard of all children being assessed, treated and discharged / admitted within 4 hours
