Full Job Description

We are looking for experienced A&E nurses to enhance our team of Emergency Nurse Practitioners within the minor injuries / GP unit. To support and maintain professionalism, undertake patient assessments and commence inital treatments as required. If you are dedicated and interested in further career development within a minor injuries unit then look no further. Our department is a busy and vibrant unit with caring and compassionate staff, who strive every day to give the best and most effective care within the NHS. As a band 6 you will have oversight and monitor patient flow through the unit, undertake direct patient treatments, plastering suturing, wound care and support the team to maintain high standards of patient care.   • Provide a high standard of individualised care to patients, acting as a role model and supporting the Emergency Nurse Practitioner team in driving quality care provision forward Be responsible for standards of cleanliness in their own clinical area in partnership with the wider team Provide clear clinical oversight of the unit, ensuring safe and effective patient journeys. Promote and support flow within the emergency floor, supporting the units current Standard Operating Policy and escalating concerns promptly.
