Join our team as a Charging Software Control Design Engineer for our next generation of electrified vehicles! Our teams plan, design, integrate and validate the charging system software to ensure we deliver our charging systems on time and to quality. In this role, you will be working in an Agile environment to lead the design and delivery of our control algorithms and in-house software in the creation of our BMCM (Battery Management Control Module) to support JLRs exciting future product line up., The Charging Software Control Design Engineer will be required to take a lead position and support the team as well as work cross functionally to develop the software requirements & awareness of Embedded Coder and MISRA C for production code generation.,
- Develop and delivery of control algorithm concepts in collaboration with our system team/hardware teams.
- Develop and execute Simulink based software module design and virtual test.
- Development of new functionality via switching control algorithms to a mass production standard for HV charging modules including bi-directional capability.
Knowledge of Powertrain and / or Electrical systems - Understanding of power electronics switching, BMS, charging modules hardware and software algorithms
- Hands-on experience in Autosar standard Modelling using MATLAB / Simulink
- Leading and mentoring the team to deliver the modelling activities
- Experience in developing robust control algorithms - turning high-level requirements into control code
