Full Job Description

- Gaining a broad range of graduate and professional skills to enhance your performance in your role and develop your career. You will work in the Marketing & Audiences Operations team. The role will be part of the Chief Customer Operations Group (CCOG) Operations team. Our business area is the part of the BBC that funds the BBC, through collection of the Licence Fee, delivers the key audience insights to inform content choices to drive delivery of Value for All, and you will gain experience supporting a number of different teams within the division. More information on the team can be found in the placement section at the end of the job description. What will you be studying? You'll study for your industry recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job, covering areas such as operational strategy, project management and business finance. This involves studying for your BSc (Hons) degree in Management Practice and Maths and English if not previously achieved., This scheme starts in September 2025, and you will be on a fixed term contract which means your contract is for the duration of the apprenticeship only. The duration of this scheme is 42 months, Apprentices starting at BBC from September 2025 will be placed on a 'Fixed Term' contract. This means your contract is for the duration of your apprenticeship only. The BBC is committed to investing in new talent and as you approach the end of your apprenticeship, we will work with you to support you and offer you employability and networking training to help you secure your next role - this might be a job here at the BBC, or somewhere in the wider media industry., The departments in the Chief Customer Officer Group, include Brand Marketing, Media and Creative teams, Audiences Insight & Analysts teams, and the Licence Fee Unit. This can also involve engaging with Corporate Functions such as Finance, Procurement and Technology. The role will be part of the CCOG Operations team. CCOG Operations is the team that brings business and operational governance, compliance and project management oversight to wider CCOG Division. Day to day activities include financial administration activities, turning BBC operational policy requirements into practical messaging and guidance to help CCOG teams understand and put them into action; collation, monitoring and reporting of divisional operational data; operational and compliance risk management coordination, supporting operational process improvements and supporting delivery of operational projects. Our business area is the part of the BBC that funds the BBC, through collection of the Licence Fee, delivers the key audience insights to inform content choices to drive delivery of Value for All and promotes the BBC's content across media both on BBC platforms and third-party media.

- Are an enthusiastic self-starter, flexible and adaptable to out-of-hours working, By the start of the apprenticeship in September 2025, have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for a minimum of 3 years.
- Be eligible to work in the UK full time for the duration of the apprenticeship contract.
- Not currently taking part in an apprenticeship scheme supported by the BBC or another organisation., Not have completed or hold qualifications in the apprenticeship subject, Business and/or Management at level 5 or higher.
- Not be currently studying toward a qualification in apprenticeship subject, Business and/or Management at level 5 or higher. To complete the apprenticeship, you must have achieved Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above or National 5 (Scotland) at C or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent qualification. If you have not achieved these qualifications by the start of your apprenticeship, you will be required to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 before the end of your apprenticeship when you take your end-point assessment.
- A starting salary of £21,840 (+ £5,318 London Living Allowance)
