Chassis Vehicle Line Manager

The role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field. Reporting to the Head of Chassis , you will lead in the development and execution of Chassis vehicle engineering strategy. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will oversee the design, development, testing, and validation of our chassis systems to ensure exceptional performance, safety, and quality. What you will do:

• Lead a team of engineers in the design and development of chassis components and systems
• Manage the overall vehicle line engineering activities, including project planning, resource allocation, and budget management
• Managing the engineering responsibility (design & release) of full vehicle chassis systems (suspension links, dampers, wheels & tyres, brake actuation, parking brake, steering systems etc)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, vehicle integration, controls, and testing, to ensure alignment and successful execution of chassis system development
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to optimize vehicle performance, efficiency, and cost
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and quality requirements, Currently operating under stealth mode, our focus is entirely directed towards achieving excellence as pioneers in creating sustainable mobility solutions which will help shape the future of transportation.   Bachelor's degree Engineering or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in chassis engineering, including design, development, and testing
• Prior experience in a leadership or management role, overseeing a team of engineers
• Strong technical knowledge of chassis systems and components
• Excellent project and stakeholder management
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
