Full Job Description

Key objectives of this role include: Work with the Business Support Team Leader, PHB advisor and Court of Protection/DoLiC lead to ensure the effective business processing of Continuing Healthcare documentation in relation PHBs for Children and Court of Protection/DoliCs administration. Reconcile invoices received in respect of legal services provided for COP/DoLiC cases. Highlight where budget requires potential consideration for increases. Deal with CHC related invoice queries in an efficient and timely manner to ensure payment is not delayed. Assist the CHC Business Support Team Leader in updating funding on the CHC database to enable effective financial reporting and forecasting. Support the monitoring and audit of patients who have a Personal Health Budget and who are Continuing Care eligible as a Child. To support the team in the development in the personalisation agenda and to support the pathway delivery for Personal Health Budgets within NHS Continuing Healthcare developing
business processes to support. (Including entering packages of care on to the database and sending out support plans to patients.) Non-clinical contact with public and/or patients may be required In times of absence, assist the CHC service to record incoming referrals, monitoring generic inbox, recording outcomes of assessments, communicating outcomes to patients or their representatives. Assist the CHC Business Support Team Leader in updating funding on the CHC database to enable effective financial reporting and forecasting. Work within established policies, procedures, protocols, and systems to ensure confidentiality of information, quality standards and performance as directed by the CHC Business Support Team Leader.
