Full Job Description

As a Shawarma Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of our signature shawarma dishes, as well as other Middle Eastern specialties. You will ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards, maintaining authenticity and consistency in every dish., Prepare and Cook Shawarma: Expertly marinate, grill, and slice shawarma meat using traditional methods and recipes.
Menu Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of our shawarma and Middle Eastern menu offerings.
Maintain Quality and Consistency: Ensure all dishes meet our high standards for flavor, texture, and presentation.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain stock.
Food Safety Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Customer Satisfaction: Engage with customers when necessary to gather feedback and ensure a positive dining experience.
Training Staff: Should be able to train new members of staff and to make sure they excel in their job.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Shawarma Chef or in a similar role specializing in Middle Eastern cuisine.
Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of traditional shawarma preparation, marination, and cooking techniques.
Passion for Cooking: A genuine passion for Middle Eastern cuisine and a commitment to delivering high-quality food.
Creativity: A creative flair for menu development and presentation
Attention to Detail: Ability to consistently produce dishes that meet our quality standards.
Food Safety Certification: Possession of or willingness to obtain relevant food safety and hygiene certifications.
Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to the kitchen environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Time management: Excellent time management and organisational skills
