Full Job Description

  • Adhere to work schedules, specifications, and menus to ensure consistent food quality.

  • Prepare and present food to meet agreed-upon company standards.

  • Strictly follow all food safety and health & safety policies and procedures.

  • Practice responsible stock control procedures.

  • Support the front-of-house team with food service.


  • Teamwork:
  • Foster positive communication between catering, service staff, and other departments.

  • Collaborate with stores and kitchen teams to ensure safe and timely food delivery.

  • Lead the kitchen in the absence of the senior chef.

  • Conduct daily food safety checks using designated protocols.

  • Clearly communicate allergen information and service details to the serving team.


  • Performance:
  • Attend weekly and event planning meetings (as required).

  • Monitor food wastage and production levels to optimize efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate allergen and food safety information.

  • Ensure adherence to opening and closing procedures.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Take initiative and contribute to the smooth operation of the catering service.

    We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Catering Team Member. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and high-quality food across a variety of operations, including race days, conferences, events, clubhouses, cafes, and restaurants., Experience working in a fast-paced retail catering environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining organization and efficiency.

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Friendly, professional, and approachable personality.

  • Full clean UK driving license (if applicable).

  • Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.

  • Working knowledge of HACCP and COSHH regulations.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
