Chef de Partie

We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join our team at one of our sites in Oxford, OX1. Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout. We are looking for a positive, honest and reliable employee to join our friendly and hardworking team. We can offer good training and prospects within our team for the right candidate. On site we provide various types of foods and styles ranging from:

• Simple but good quality cafe offering of sandwiches, salads and daily changing hot/cold specials.
• 3 to 4 course seasonal fine dine banquet menus
• Canape parties
• Conference Catering
• Hot & cold breakfasts.
• Buffet service including hot and cold offering, with daily themes (Japanese, Mexican, pizza nights etc)
• Outdoor BBQ and 'street food' catering.
• Afternoon Teas
• Sandwich lunches
• Weddings
• Tasting Tables
  
  Have excellent people skills
• Have general knowledge of food hygiene, NVQ level 2 or equivalent
• Be passionate about food and customer service
• Have superb culinary skills
• Have good organisational and communication skills
• Be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a large team
• Be eligible to work in the UK
You will be able to create and develop our dishes and will assist the Chefs in creation of weekly menus. A knowledge and understanding of the important of stock and food wastage is essential.
