From graduation and awards ceremonies to international conventions, our menus are sure to enhance the event experience. From our prime location in the heart of Westminster, we have hosted over 13,000 events since it was opened by Her Majesty the Queen on the 24th June 1986. Overall Purpose of the Role: To assist the Head Chef in the kitchen operation and ensure the company's reputation for food quality is maintained at all times. More about the role:

• To plan, prepare and cook menu items as directed by the Sous / Head Chef.
• To assist in the development and planning of menus, including future food trends, and to be passionate about developing new styles of service and concepts in the location.
• To assist with stock taking when required.
• To carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section as appropriate.
• To look after the team in the kitchen in the absence of the Sous / Head Chef
• To prepare mis en place lists and place orders as requested
  
  NVQ qualification or equivalent
• Successful progressive background in catering
• Food Hygiene Certificate
• Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to plan ahead
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Good communicator at all levels
• Demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving
• Flair and innovative with menus and food presentation
