Chef de Partie (University Sector)

Cardiff University is seeking to recruit Chefs to work as part of the kitchen team. You will be part of the team preparing, cooking and serving meals for students, conference delegates and guests to generally assist in the smooth running of the catering services within the department.

We expect the successful candidate to interact regularly with our customers and to work with the Kitchen Manager and participate in menu development groups to develop new ideas, concepts and food innovations to maximise sales.

Be able to work under pressure
Have a working knowledge of Food Safety and adhering to all policy requirements
The role will require a flexible approach to working hours and is based on working 5 days out of 7 each week, as required, to support the achievement of the department's goals.

Three posts - Two Open-ended, (52 weeks) positions of 35 hours per week, and one semester time only (34 weeks) position of 35 hours per week.

Salary: £22,278 - £23,114 per annum (Grade 2) - £12.16 per hour
