Full Job Description

  • Managing a team of chefs - ensuring the smooth day to day running of the kitchen.
  • Managing and assisting with weekly deep cleans of the kitchen
  • Filling out paperwork, ensuring Health and Safety paperwork and due dilligence paperwork is filled out correctly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all daily paper / computer work is complete and that inventories and statistical reports are completed correctly and at the right time.
  • Knowledge of all applicable policies and laws
  • Ensuring all staff training is complete and being applied to day to day duties
  • Arranging rotas and processing payroll correctly on Kronos.
  • Ensure Team Members receive appropriate training to company policies; legal and health and safety requirements
  • Offering excellent customer service to our clients
  • Plan and lead team management meetings and daily briefings Health and Safety
  • Ensure workpacks and staff training records are maintained
  • Menu planning and food preperation
  • Placing orders and stock taking, ensuring the FIFO method is followed
  • Maintain & develop client relationships

  • NVQ Level 2 - Culinary or equivalent
  • Excellent numeracy skills; strong written and verbal skills
  • Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2/3 or willing to obtain
  • Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation
  • Experience:
  • Previous management experience in the food services industry
  • A customer focused can-do attitude
  • An understanding, patient individual who can deal with difficult situations if they arise
  • Flexible approach to duties and shifts
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
  • A DBS check is required for this role

    A competitive salary of £31,553 per year
  • Full time - 40 hours per week - Mainly Monday - Friday with the occasional weekend if required
  • No late evenings and minimal weekends
