Full Job Description

Work closely with our operations team to determine the relevant level of training and coaching required to support our kitchen teams. Design, develop, and implement training programs focusing on cooking techniques, food preparation, and excellent presentation standards. Conduct hands-on group training sessions for head chefs, kitchen team members and pub/hotel management team. Deliver seasonal masterclass training sessions for each of our food concepts. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to our teams to improve their cooking skills and performance. Provide training and support on food stocks, wastage and managing margin and gap. Work closely with the wider L&D team to design engaging online learning solutions. Lead the development and implementation of our Head Chef Induction Programme Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new cooking techniques to continuously enhance training programs. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, adjusting as necessary to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.

  • You'll have extensive experience working as a chef in a high-volume, premium food establishment.
  • Ideally, you'll have previous experience working in a training, teaching, or coaching role, preferably within the culinary field.
  • You'll be familiar with identifying training needs and designing engaging training programmes.
  • You'll possess in-depth knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations and have exemplary food safety standards.
  • A strong communicator, with the ability to effectively engage and inspire others.
  • You'll have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative training solutions.
  • Minimum Food Safety Level 3
  • Driving License
