Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the SACT Treatment Booking Team based at Velindre. We specialise in booking of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy treatments using patient focused skills and ensuring we adhere to the Velindre and Welsh Government guidelines.
We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills who can deliver outstanding customer service to our patients, staff and visitors. We work alongside Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Radiotherapy, Pharmacy and Nursing teams ensuring we process deferral and new patient treatment requests accurately and within a timely manner. The successful candidate will require excellent typing skills, knowledge of all Microsoft packages including outlook.
They must strive to achieve deadlines with excellent prioritising skills, work to all relevant guidelines and have a good telephone manner. Candidates will need to be able to work flexibly across the week, within a busy and demanding environment.
Knowledge of ChemoCare E-Scheduling, Canisc, Radis and Patient Transport systems is desirable, full training can be provided for the right candidate.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
