Full Job Description

We are looking for a highly enthusiastic and skilled senior cardiac physiologist (in cath lab and pacing) to join our team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will be cross-site for both Chelsea and Westminster and West Middlesex Hospital sites. The post-holder will provide highly specialised professional expertise in the environment of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Physiologist-led pacemaker/device follow-up clinics. They will also act as a resource within the technical cardiology service and provide expert, specialist advice within this area.,

  • To be able to perform a broad range of clinical-technical investigation procedures and interventions in the Cardiological field to a highly competent professional standard.
  • To possess specialist practitioner knowledge and skills in Cath Lab and Pacing and to help manage the pacing clinics.
  • To assist the Lead Cardiac Physiologist in the various sections of Cardiac Services in providing the routine Cardiac Physiology clinical-technical services when necessary.
  • To perform complex pacing clinics including home monitoring and of undertake a range cath lab procedures
  • Play a major role in the training and continuing professional development of staff and students
