How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:

• Strategic guidance to the CEO and ExCom on all business issues


• Leadership of the Consumer Finance function


• SW Management and Financial reporting


• SW Compliance


• IT and Business process development


• Provision of strategic plan due in 2025


• All statutory reporting for Smurfit Westrock


• Relevant Management information delivered in the required manner and on time


• Leading the development programme for future financial controllers


• Continuous improvement in the business processes


• Oversight of an IT platform that meets the security and compliance needs of the group but also acts as a Business Enabler


• All legal and Secretarial co-ordination
  
  Must be a qualified accountant


• Experience of leadership of a large team that does not report directly to you


• The ability to present a business strategy to your colleagues


• The ability to influence the SW Financial Agenda
  
  The opportunity: there are 36 converting plants in the Europe region, six in the APAC and two in India. In addition, we use sub-contractors in the APAC region to supply our Global customers. Total Sales are $1.4bn with 6,000 employees. Therefore, a complex structure.
