Full Job Description

This Chief of Staff role supports the Head of Enterprise Operations and the leadership team with the development and implementation of the function's strategy and operations, as well as project management and planning assistance for key initiatives. The role will require the successful candidate to lead on key strategic, operational, and enterprise initiatives, particularly those that require coordination across the Enterprise Operations teams as well as across broader company function and business boundaries., Strategy Execution

  • Support Head of Enterprise Operations and leadership team in annual planning
  • Manage progress against scorecard and priorities, using easily accessible and user-friendly program status tools including the collection and analysis of key information and determination of metrics though the relevant teams
  • Track and report on key internal projects identified and agreed with the Head of Enterprise Operations to
  • ensure deadlines are met and remain aligned with business objectives including ad hoc assistance for various Leadership team members as needed. Support the delivery of strategic projects, including process optimisation and AI & automation initiatives Continuously scan the external environment for new innovative ways of working aided by new software & technology Special Projects:
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Operations Leadership Team and other business and corporate function partners to support and provide project management for the function's strategic initiatives and operations
  • Lead and/or participate in special projects as needed
  • Drive priority initiatives, providing strategic advice and managing senior stakeholders to ensure execution
  • Governance:
  • Manage the meeting cadence and review upcoming meetings for the Enterprise Operations leadership team, ensuring time is well spent on planning, objectives, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with finance to complete the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment on P&L
  • Support the delivery of Enterprise Operations KPIs on a quarterly basis
  • Assist with the development of presentations, speeches, and materials for the Head of Enterprise Operations and leadership team for key meetings
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Represent the function at enterprise-wide forums and meetings when required
  • Collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams, often working virtually, demonstrating effectiveness when dealing with colleagues at all levels
  • Provide perspective and candid counsel to the Global Enterprise Operations Leader and the leadership team where required
  • Communication:
  • Manage and execute on communications plans through the creation and publishing of written communications (newsletters, news stories, etc.)
  • Review existing meeting and communication forums/processes/training and develop an approach that ensures open communication across relevant Enterprise Operations leaders and teams, along with timely updates
  • Assist with development of presentations, speeches, and materials for the Head of Enterprise Operations and leadership team for key meetings working closely with the relevant internal communications and administrative teams
  • Culture & Talent Management:
  • Manage and execute on people initiatives which support the execution of the strategy
  • Organise and execute people processes such as talent mapping and succession planning
  • Support recruitment efforts across Enterprise Operations
  • Drive initiatives with embed a culture of connection and continuous improvement

    Experience in strategic and delivery role within a multi-lines of business environments or organizations with a matrix orientation required
  • Ability to navigate organizational complexities and help assure alignment across groups
  • Working knowledge of WTW ways of working
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with senior colleague and business/function leaders across the company and exhibits strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent project management, planning, analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often with shifting priorities, ensuring confidentiality, attention to detail and on time delivery
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to work independently and virtually
