Full Job Description

As a senior member of the IT department this role requires an individual with the capability and maturity to lead, analyse, manage, and understand a complex and demanding environment. Working nationally, regionally, and locally the post holder will be responsible for the strategic information, technology, and innovation strategy programmes at the Trust.
The post holder will work with senior Trust stakeholders, commissioners, commercial leads, directors, and external suppliers to outline the Trusts technology vision and future strategy as well as managing the strategic framework for technology. Once formulated, it is the responsibility of the Chief Technology Enterprise / Solution Architect to manage the strategic technical financial forecast, roadmap, and execution plan for the EPR and associated technology, so that Trust achieves all business, innovation, and technology outcomes.

Reporting to the Director of IT (DofIT), the post holder will work closely with the Trusts' technical and EPR Acceleration programme teams to aggregate the business objectives and solutions into a well-formed strategic plan. This plan will be equally innovative in its presentation and communication to our stakeholders. The role is accountable for the preparation of the pre-delivery elements of the plan and the delivery of all elements required to meet the pre-delivery phases. Once approved, this role will be responsible for the technical and commercial assurance of the associated proposals.
It is the duty of the post holder to manage the delivery of strategy products, business cases and other deliverables through to the Trust board in partnership with the Director of IT and the EPR Programme Director, providing presentations and literature for the technical road map.
The post will hold the financial responsibility for budgeting the strategy, ensuring the Trust is well positioned to lead the way in the delivery of fully integrated, consolidated, value-based care delivery
