The Lighthouse is passionate about challenging the current response to children who have been sexually abused in North Central London and wider through multidisciplinary, child-centred ways of working, improving health and well-being of the child and their carers, and ensuring a holistic response through the criminal justice process. If you are ready to develop your expertise in complex safeguarding, multidisciplinary working and interventions that support children's recovery from sexual abuse, this exciting social work opportunity will enable you to be part of a unique and influential service building on best practice for children who have been sexually abused in the UK., The role will be within the Case Management team which is a busy, fast paced and responsive team made up of child and family practitioners who are social workers and/or ChISVA's. The team is the first point of contact for professionals, children and their carers and is responsible for ensuring the seamless journey through the lighthouse services whilst working closely with professional colleagues in the community. The role involves supporting our duty system; offering advice to children, carers and professionals around referrals, ensuring safeguarding oversight and risk management at the referral stage and ensuring that safeguarding concerns have been escalated.
