Full Job Description

Chiltern Primary School is looking to appoint a flexible and enthusiastic Child Supervisory Support Officer to join our existing team.

You would be responsible for:-

Ensure dining hall is set up for lunch, cleaned during and at end of service.

Supporting children in playing games and being physically active during the lunchtime break

Support with our Move More Active lunches

Giving children the freedom to spend their leisure time in their own way

Encouraging fair play behaviour among the children

Encouraging independence and self-esteem

Talking to children about their concerns or worries

Keeping records

First Aid

We are looking for someone who enjoys motivating children and has the ability to supervise activities and promote positive social skills. You would be a good role model reflecting the ethos of the school. You would need to make sure that play is safe, and encourage children to be aware of their own safety and that of others.

This role involves contact with children and provides regular access to children, therefore it is 'regulated activity'. As such, this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act - 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
