Full Job Description
A Child Personal Support Assistant is required for 6 hours per week to support a 6 year old boy who is diagnosed autistic and non verbal and therefore struggles with communication.
The PSA must be patient, caring and supportive who will dedicate their time to his care whilst helping to improve his educational and social needs.
The hours are: Monday evening (after school) for 2 hours & Saturday morning for 3-4 hours, with hours also during school holidays.
Common Tasks will include:
Helping with dressing and personal hygiene, visits to the park, playgrounds and other fun outdoor activities. Indoor activities including baking, painting and messy play.
The rate of pay is £14.30 per hour plus mileage of 45p per mile.
