Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Little Dreamers Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice. Little Dreamers is a homely setting based on the outskirts of Bordon within a small business complex. The road runs through the main town centre in which commuters use to access the towns facilities and motorway network. The nursery itself has two large playrooms with sensory area, cosy corner and loose parts play and an exciting messy room on the ground floor for children aged 2-5 years. The light airy Pre-school rooms free flow indoors and out, into a large securely fenced garden with mud kitchen, wooden house, balance beams and gardening activities on offer. Upstairs children from 0-2 years have use of 2 large play rooms including a cosy corner, messy area and a sensory room and a sleep area. Both floors have a kitchenette, toilet areas and nappy change facilities. Your roles and responsibilities will include;

• The right candidate would start by being a key person to a small group of children, they would be responsible for updating family and keeping the parents up to date with their progress.
• Have a good understanding of health and safety and keeping children safe while in their care.
• Look after the children and support their needs through learning and play, engaging them in meaningful, exciting and practical learning and helping each child is to reach their maximum potential.
• Plan innovative learning experiences that constantly challenge children's learning and development;
• Support with observations, assessments and planning for the children within your care.
• Build and maintain relationships with parents.
• Ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the day.
• Assist with all aspects of personal care.
Hours;
• Little Dreamers Nursery are open between the hours of 07:30-18:00
• Working hours will be 40 hours per week
  
  Level 2 Early Years Childcare Qualification is required when applying for this role
• GCSE's A-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills
• Must be able to obtain clear DBS
