Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join Busy Bee Preschool, The Scout Hut as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice A child's day at Busy Bee's is endless. We create an environment which offers learning opportunities for all children, challenging their minds to create, investigate and explore. We courage every child to make positive relationships with their peers and key workers. Through-out our week we cook and bake , read stories and role play, mark make and get messy with paint and glue along with so much more... We are not just a preschool! We have a beautiful baby area within our play hall, were babies from 3 months - 2 years can come and play, explore and build warm relationships with their key workers. Its vital children from 0-5 years are supported with their physical, language, and personal, social and emotional development. Our baby area provides many different experience's for young learners. Sensory play, treasure baskets, many interesting homely items that shine, and make great noises when bashed with wooden sticks. Our young little learners have the time to explore our garden and field, and join our pre-schoolers on outings. Your roles and responsibilities will include;

• Being a key person to a small group supported by the senior members of the team.
• Following and implementing the daily routine, setting up activities for children.
• Preparing snacks and lunches, nappy changes, toilet duties.
• Housekeeping, indoors and outdoors.
• Involved in planning.
• Safeguarding and keeping the children safe.
• Liaising with parents.
• Attending staff meetings and training.
  
  Level 2 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role
• You must be able to obtain a clear DBS
• GCSE's A-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills
  
  Busy Bee Preschool, The Scout Hut are a term time only setting
• Opening times are 08.45am - 15.00pm Monday-Friday
• You will be required to work 30 hours per week, Mon-Fri 09.00am-15.00pm, Discounted Childcare
• Free parking
• Provide morning or afternoon for birthday off.
• Paid time off for Christmas shopping
