Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our paediatric team at Worthing Hospital. We are looking to appoint a forward thinking and enthusiastic nurse to lead and develop the Children's Ambulatory Care throughout the Division. The successful candidate will provide management and leadership support to the paediatric nursing team whilst maintaining responsibility for a safe and effective service. The Ambulatory Care Manager will work collaboratively with the Children's Ward Manager to ensure a visible leadership, drive improvement and provide assurance to clinical and management teams within the Children's Directorate., This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated and passionate about leading and delivering a quality service to meet the changing needs of our local population.

We are looking for an experienced nurse with a clear vision to lead the team to ensure patients have a positive experience. You will need to be able to lead with care & understanding to create a shared purpose and ensure the team feel supported.

You will be responsible for the daily operational management of the Ambulatory Care Services within the Children's Division, providing leadership to the team, whilst giving necessary professional, clinical practice and support. You will work with different specialities & staff to further develop pathways and create a team approach.

You will be part of a team responsible for driving ambulatory care forward and be able to represent this area at senior level. The successful candidate will be offered a supportive & friendly working environment with the chance to develop further.
