Full Job Description
- Exciting opportunity for a highly motivated band 6 children's nurse in our Richmond Children's Community Nursing Service.
- Learning opportunities to complete training in cytotoxic medication administration, foundation oncology and palliative care.
- Opportunity to develop teaching skills.
- Collaboration with allied professionals, the wider multidisciplinary team, social care, and local education providers.
- Caring for children with acute and long term conditions, including enteral feeding, IV antibiotic administration, oxygen therapy, blood sampling via central venous access devices, wound care and palliative care. Care is delivered across a range of settings including patient homes and in a nurse led clinic.
- Access to lease car via Tusker Car Scheme.
- May be required to work weekends and bank holidays.
- Seeking Band 6 children's nurses with motivation to work in our Children's Community Nursing Service.
- Requires the ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative nursing team.
