Are you an experienced Physiotherapist looking for a new challenge within paediatrics or would like to develop your specialist skills in Children's Physiotherapy?, Do you want to be part of an innovative and agile Children and Young People's Therapy service committed to delivering high quality care? We are looking to recruit a Children's Physiotherapist to join our well-established Children's Physiotherapy team based at Peace Children Centre's in Watford. We have a part time (22.5 hours per week) Band 6 Physiotherapist post available. Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust provides integrated Children's Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy Services for families across the county. Our integrated service is jointly commissioned by health and education, allowing us to provide a seamless pathway of care from early years through to schools and specialist provisions., The successful applicant will be expected to hold a varied caseload for young people aged 0-19 years, providing interventions in a variety of settings such as homes, schools including special schools and clinics. Post graduate experience/training within paediatrics is desirable, however having a broad range of clinical skills across various rotations would also be taken into consideration. Support, mentoring and further training will be provided to meet the individual needs of practitioners in areas where up skilling and development is required. Our integrated service provides opportunities for collaborative working, joint training and shared learning amongst each profession. We work closely with colleagues in education, with well-established relationships. HCT is strongly committed to continuing professional development and the delivery of evidence-based practice.   • Regular group supervision, managerial supervision and a well-established appraisal system
  • CPD opportunities, including in service masterclasses
  • Opportunities to develop leadership skills and to supervise less experienced members of staff
  • Opportunities to work alongside other therapists/assistants to deliver intervention to children/young people requiring specialist support
  • A initial induction period where you will have the opportunity to observe and shadow your team.
