Children's Residential Support Worker

You will be responsible for embedding the PACE training that we will provide into your practise to create and maintain a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment where our young people can achieve to their full potentials.

Tasks:

• Supporting young people with daily task


• Provide emotional and practical support to children in care


• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation and personal hygiene


• Facilitating family time


• Organising and participating in activities and events


• Attending meetings


• Record keeping


• Key working sessions


• Maintaining the home


• 2 days on 4 days off + sleep-ins shift pattern
  
  We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals who are dedicated to achieve the best outcomes for our children and young people., QCF level 3 Diploma in relevant care/children & young people related area or equivalent or higher recognised qualification.


• N.B. It is not anticipated that all new recruits to the role will have QCF Level 3 qualification but will commence on successful completion of their probationary period within six months of joining and will have a specific time period in which to qualify.


• Genuine passion for working with children and young people


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays


• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively


• Right to work in the United Kingdom, Have you worked with Children and Young people with challenging behaviour in the past?


• Comfortable with shift patterns and sleep in's (essential)


• Due to the ages of our young people are you aged above 21 years?


Experience:

• Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)


• Support Environment: 1 year (required), GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)

  Salary, Dependent on Experience and knowledge £26,500.00 - £29,000 Per Year.
