We are looking for Residential Keyworkers to join a brand-new Children's Home located in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

· Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships

· Be a good team player to provide a high level of care and achieve positive outcomes

· Encourage the young people to be motivated and take part in activities, education and extracurricular activities

· Have attention to detail ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork

· Demonstrate a commitment to own training and development

· Be able to adapt working practice to the ethos of the home

· Have resilience, motivation and determination

· Can adapt to challenging and changing situations

· Be inclusive to all children and young people

· Be confident in using Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word, or willing to learn

· Be flexible and able to undertake shift work including weekends and sleep-ins.

· Apply for enhanced DBS disclosure and if applicable, overseas criminal records checks

Desirable:

· Understanding of attachment and trauma in relation to young people

· Knowledge of current legislation relevant to Children's Homes

· Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Persons Workforce or equivalent

Full UK driving license

£27,000 per annum starting salary (for Unqualified and dependent on experience) £28,000 per annum starting salary (for Qualified and dependent on experience)
