Children's Residential Support Worker

• £13.00 to £15.60 per hour
• This is a temporary to permanent position, once you have booked 487.5 hours of work through Newcross, you will be transferred across to the client as a permanent employee
• Work in a highly rewarding environment with young people, helping them re-enter education and develop important life skills
Your day-to-day responsibilities: You will be providing support to children and young people in full-time residential care with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings for staff development and communication
• Provide care and support to young people, helping them engage in education and social activities
• Assist with day-to-day tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and organising social activities
  
  Either an NVQ Level 2 or 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or substantial prior experiene of supporting children and young people in residential care
• A minimum 12 months of experience in a residential setting working with children and young people
