Full Job Description

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP., Bolton have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join our Integrated Front Door/MASH in the Referral and Assessment Service managing the Referral Team within the IFD alongside the existing IFD Manager.
The role is full-time (37 hours per week) and will be office based, initially for 3 months.
Must have experience of (but are not limited to):

  • Ability to support Social Workers and other key professionals to make decisions to keep children safe and meet their needs.

  • Extensive knowledge an understanding of child care law, social work practice and application of statutory thresholds.

  • Ability to manage, develop, supervise and enhance the performance of teams and individuals and to delegate work to others and respond to poor performances.

  • Ability to manage a busy children's Front Door allocating contacts, referrals, chairing strategy meetings and the daily domestic abuse meeting.

  • Candidates must have experience of managing Social Workers and demonstrate understanding and evidence of working in Childrens Services.
    Interviews for successful candidates will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
    References will be requested for any candidates offered an interview and DBS requested for any candidate offered a post

    You must have:
  • A professional qualification in social work and experience of working with adults.

  • Social Work England registration.

  • Post qualified experience.
