Full Job Description

Our Housing Solutions team ensures customers receive a thorough housing assessment and advice right from the start. We explore all options until we find suitable, secure, and affordable housing for Wiltshire residents.

In this crucial role for the county, you will provide housing guidance, proactively prevent homelessness, and assess housing needs for the council's Housing Register. You'll collaborate with various departments to fulfill our statutory duties towards homeless and housing-needy individuals.

You will support vulnerable young people, including 16- and 17-year-olds at risk of homelessness and care leavers who need additional assistance. Working closely with colleagues in Housing Options, Children in Care, and Children's Services, you will deliver a tailored service that meets the needs of Wiltshire's young people and helps them remain in stable, supportive environments.

We are looking for someone who not only has the knowledge of landlord-tenant relationships, allocations, and homelessness law, but also someone who is empathetic, adaptable and customer focused.
