Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our young persons eating disorder team based on the Wirral. This role involves working 30 hours per week in a busy CYP Eating Disorder environment. This post is to cover maternity leave, Contribute to the Community Eating Disorder team assessing, delivering and evaluating the Eating Disorder needs of the young people accepted by the service.
Take responsibility for providing specialist eating disorder assessments to children & young people with complex health needs. In collaboration within team and child/parents/carers deliver a treatment plan that offers a range of therapeutic approaches appropriate to clinical need.
Undertake preventative aspects of service delivery such as offering consultation and expert advice to other professionals and participate in training programmes.
Work within CWP policies and service operational policies responsible, both autonomously and as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, for decisions in accepting, prioritising and assessing referrals to the service.

Previous experience in eating disorders is preferred , we will provide some specialist training in Child and Young Person Eating Disorders (CYP ED).
