Childrens Continence Nurse

An exciting new role has been commissioned to develop a Childrens Containment Products Service in the Dudley locality. The successful nurse will help to shape the service by identifying children at a young age who need additional support with their continence needs., The role will involve assessing and reviewing children who require containment products where their long term conditions may prevent full continence from being achieved.

Reviewing children that already receive products in order to evidence a medical need for usage and offer continence advice where appropriate.

To offer support and guidance to health professionals and school staff in the form of training or group work.
