Full Job Description

We are a dynamic, friendly OT team who report high levels of job satisfaction. We offer a professionally led service with direct support from an OT Clinical Lead Specialist, monthly in-service team training, effective supervision and External Training opportunities through the Trust., This is a new OT post, and you will have the chance to develop the service provision across West Lea School. The role will include staff/parent training and class-based provision as well as specialist individual work. You will also be providing OT support to West Lea School families in the school holidays., To work within West Lea School to develop and provide Occupational Therapy.

To develop and provide Occupational Therapy services for pupils who attend West Lea Special Educational needs school

To provide high quality child centred, occupationally focused assessment and intervention to students and their families.

To work with the school Leadership team to plan and develop the OT service into West Lea School working at a Universal, Targeted and Specialist level.

To supervise and appraise junior staff and contribute to the local staff training programme.

The successful candidate will be committed to occupationally focused, family centred and evidence-based care.

An exciting opportunity has risen for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist who wishes to develop specialist skills in Paediatrics within a supportive team. We are looking for a creative, friendly and enthusiastic OT to join our established Children's Team. We are located within easy commuter links from central London/Hertfordshire.

North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system - consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. As with other ICS's, we are working increasingly closely with partners and indeed many of our financial and performance objectives are measured at this system level. Whilst all organisations remain as standalone, statutory bodies we have an ICS infrastructure for making shared decisions and agreeing shared approaches.

We are proud of our staff and want to ensure their training allows them to provide excellent clinical care. We are also a training unit for medical students from UCL and St George's University Grenada, and for nursing and midwifery students from Middlesex and City Universities.
