Full Job Description

Team Leader Children's Residential - UK manual driving licence essential., Your role as Team Leader for ROC Northwest is to assist and support the House Manager where needed, ensuring the smooth running of the shift, assigning specific tasks to the support workers and monitoring their completion. You will support our children to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family, encourage them to integrate with the local community by attending clubs and leisure activities and to support the children in all aspects of their daily living. You will safeguard vulnerable children and report any suspicion or evidence of harm and when the children are not in the service you will undertake housekeeping and maintain standards of hygiene within the home ensuring your team perform their duties to the highest standards.

  • Previous experience supporting young people is required for this role, Level 3 in Children's Residential Care, or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 Years working in a Residential Support Worker setting

  • Minimum of 1 Year experience of Leading a team

  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual, not automatic)

  • Able to work days, evenings and weekends

  • Confidence to ensure your team performs well and are themselves supported by you

    £500 Welcome Bonus - once you pass probation period of 6 months
