Childrens Support Worker

The purpose of this role is to support a 7 year old boy to access the community ensuring his safety and welfare is priority. The young boy has autism, PICA and learning disabilities. He is non verbal and has challenging behaviours. He enjoys being outside, trampoline parks and visiting soft play centres. There are aspects of personal care involved in this role e.g. changing incontinence pads and support with feeding, full training will be provided.
The days/times are flexible and can be discussed during the interview stage. On average you will be required to work 4 hours a week however flexibility will be required as more hours may be available during the school holidays and less during term time.
