Full Job Description

The Band 4 Results Coordinator acts as a key liaison between clinical and administrative teams, ensuring the seamless flow of information and efficient operation of Chlamydia Screening and Remote Testing as part of Unity Sexual Health. This role encompasses managing test results, maintaining patient records, ensuring test kit production needs are met, liaising with the UKSHA Pathology Lab and providing administrative support to facilitate effective patient care and service delivery. This can include materials amendments, contributing to data analysis and line managing a small team of kit making staff. You will be the key link between the admin, nursing and kit making aspects of the screening team. Please note this role is guaranteed in Unity until 31st March 2025, and thereafter you may be redeployed elsewhere within UHBW services.,

  • Manage incoming inquiries (phone, email, in-person).
  • Provide support to clinical and administrative teams as needed
  • Ensure proper set up of workflows and workstations for kit production
  • Liaise with IM&T to ensure IT systems are functioning appropriately for the screening team equipment and processes, including online systems.
  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers and partnering services to ensure effective service delivery within budget constraints.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with team members to address potential issues proactively
  • Arrange and facilitate team meetings.
  • Update training resources and train new starters.
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including completing PCPs.
  • Consistently appraise systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Update existing data monitoring databases and monthly reports for the data manager.Deliver training to professionals around sexual health and contraception Contribute to the design and update of service literature to ensure compliance with trust guidelines
  • Receive, process, and record test results from various sources (clinic, online, screening).
  • Identify and escalate any issues or discrepancies in results.
  • Liaise with laboratories and other departments as needed.
  • Work alongside the Results Co-Ordinator to ensure timely results management of online results.
  • Further tasks as needed at equivalent level as service needs evolve, to be agreed with line manager., children, young people and vulnerable adults.
