Full Job Description

The main role of the Lay Member is to ensure that the perspective of patients, carers and the general public are represented and considered in all aspects of the committees work. Our lay members come from a variety of different backgrounds and generally will not be an expert in a field of relevance to the EAG in which they are a member.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) enhances and improves the health of millions of people every day through the effective regulation of medicines and medical devices, underpinned by science and research.
