Full Job Description
Delivery and transformational impact are hallmarks of our regional civic activity. This role will support civic projects already underway and taking our civic agenda to the next ambitious level.
It is a people-focused role - an exciting opportunity to connect and engage partners inside and outside the University and to devise and deliver projects that step up to the region's challenges and opportunities. Team working and a collegiate approach is essential.
Allocating and managing resources for projects with transparency and accountability are an important in this position.
It includes spreading a culture of partner-led civic engagement across the University and producing an ongoing, memorable narrative about our civic impact.
You will be an excellent networker with the confidence to be an effective ambassador for the University's civic role. You will be strongly motivated by making a difference and getting things done.
As part of a new and small team you will relish the opportunity to contribute fresh, ideas and you will have a track record in managing projects efficiently with some experience of organising events. You will be confident gathering and analysing information from diverse sources and presenting messages with clarity.
Experience and insight into working with industry/business and a diversity of organisations across the public sector will be welcome. As will knowledge of and contacts within the Hampshire/Solent region., Disability Confident
