Full Job Description

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Parking Enforcement Officer where you will be responsible for advising on and enforcing the Authority's traffic orders. This important role keeps our streets safe and our roads moving.

Main Duties of the Post
- Patrolling public streets and council car parks, advising on and ensuring consistent
application of traffic orders
- Respond to enquiries and provide advice to members of the public.
- To record and issue PCN's using available or computerised systems.
- Collect and replace cash boxes at designated car parks.
- To check that parking signs, road markings and notices are in good condition.

A love of working outdoors and being active
- Experience of interacting with members of the public
- The ability to communicate confidently with people from all walks of life.
- Ability to deal with confrontation situations
- Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, Welsh Language skills are not required to be learnt when appointed to the post.
