Rhondda Cynon Taff CBC employs a team of Civil Enforcement Officers to patrol its off-street Car Parks as well as on-street traffic lines and signs. To assist the Council in undertaking its civil parking enforcement responsibilities, a vacancy has arisen within the team. The successful candidate will join a well established team of Civil Enforcement Officers to form an enhanced enforcement presence on the streets of Rhondda Cynon Taf. You will be required to work a 7 day shift rota involving lone-working with some unsociable working hours and must wear the uniform provided when on duty. Your duties and main functions will include:

  • Patrolling the Council's off-street Car Parks and on-street parking in accordance with the Council's Car Park Regulations and Parking Enforcement Policy.
  • Identifying instances of unlawful parking and issuing Penalty Charge Notices, (PCNs), in accordance with the Parking Enforcement Policy and associated operating practices.
  • Ensuring the upkeep of appropriate records in accordance with legislation and operating procedures.
  • Liaising with other Council services as appropriate to ensure the effectively delivery of the enforcement operation., The Council values diversity in its workforce.
