Full Job Description

Reporting to the Civil Enforcement Supervisors you will be responsible for patrolling the Thurrock area ensuring that vehicles are complying with the appropriate Traffic Regulation Orders.
You will enforce parking by identifying vehicles parked in contravention and serving Penalty Charge Notices in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Council. The role requires officers to carry out on street foot patrols borough wide. Working outside in varying weather conditions and walking up to 15 miles per day.
This role also monitors the conditions of signs and lines related to parking restrictions and reporting defects.
The role will be rotated on a two shift basis, week 1 Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm Friday 8am to 4pm, week 2, Tuesday to Friday 9.30am to 6pm, Saturday 8am to 4pm.

Previous civil parking enforcement experience is essential. Minimum 6 months.
A Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check at basic level will be required for this role.
Previous experience in a regulated parking profession is essential.
A Clean Full UK Driving Licence is preferred for this role.
