Full Job Description

As a Civil Engineer (Capital Engineering) you'll be responsible for:

Contribute towards building and applying extensive domain and technical knowledge for design intent, as-built-drawings, and performance through life for engineered structures

Interpret and deliver the requirements of issued tasks and projects from the Capital Engineering CS&A order book and make evidence based professional engineering decisions to solve technical problems

Identify and escalate business risk arising from condition of engineered systems and structures

Demonstrate adherence to management system requirements and relevant technical standards

For Civil Engineer roles we are particularly interested to hear from candidates with experience in some, or all the following:

Building structural assessment, foundation design, potable water and drainage design, seismic assessment, structural analysis, highways design, quantity surveying and construction site supervision

Relevant legislation and supporting ACOP, and common industry standards

Higher hazard / regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, petro-chem, pharma etc.)

Minimum qualification L4 NVQ (HNC)
