Your Mission: As a Skills Coach, you'll play a crucial role in inducting, training, assessing, and mentoring learners in the field of civil engineering. Your expertise will guide them to develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours they need to excel in their apprenticeships, all while working alongside employers in real-world settings. What Will You Do?
- Provide career advice and guidance to learners and employers, helping them navigate work-based programs.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships to ensure successful outcomes for all parties involved.
- Be a key player in regional promotional events and local college activities, showcasing the fantastic opportunities we offer!
- Deliver engaging training and assessments that meet the needs of learners and employers alike.
- Monitor and support learner progress, ensuring they achieve their goals, including any functional skills they may need.
- Promote a learning environment that embraces individuality and celebrates diversity!
- Champion safeguarding and the well-being of all learners in your care.
A relevant level 4 or above qualification in your occupational area. - An assessor qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Demonstrable experience in the civil engineering field.
- Knowledge of Apprenticeship Funding rules and the Apprenticeship Levy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT and a willingness to travel to support learning and assessment.
