Here at Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC), we are an inclusive and dedicated organisation working to provide excellent care to our entitled personnel! We are looking to recruit a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic Civilian Medical Practitioner (GP) who will be working within our Primary Healthcare team within the Portsmouth Combined Medical Practice (PMX), a large military practice based across six sites within the Greater Portsmouth area, Hampshire. The candidate will work primarily from HMS Nelson but may also be required to work flexibly across the other sites within the PMX.   • A challenging yet rewarding and dynamic role working at the interface between primary care and occupational medicine,in support of our military population., The successful postholder will be responsible for providing primary and occupational healthcare in line with General Medical Council (GMC) Standards to ensure that our objectives to optimise patient care are met, supporting DPHC in delivering a safe and effective service.
  • Whilst the Post Holder may not have direct Line Manager Responsibilities, they will participate in the mentoring of junior personnel, helping to ensure that their training needs, as defined in the Practise Development Plan, are met and that any shortfalls are identified and addressed
