Full Job Description
The Health Claims Team are responsible for the handling of health/disability/death claims requiring the gathering of supporting medical evidence, assessment of that evidence and making a claims decision based on the evidence collated & the benefits provided by the customer's policy/policies. You will provide administrative support to the Claims Assessors, which will include issuing claim forms, chasing outstanding requirements, paying third party fees, report analysis, call handling and processing benefit payments.

- Check understanding of customer requests and take personal responsibility for ensuring that all needs are understood and that all elements will be met first time, accurately - in line with our "One and Done, Right First Time" philosophy.
- High level of accuracy and thoroughness in reviewing documentation.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and potential fraud.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely
- The ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with vulnerable customers which may also necessitate some difficult conversations.

Salary: From £23000-£23000, 33 days including Bank Holidays - Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus scheme
