Full Job Description

  • Through analysing data and market insights, supporting the identification and development of insight into inflationary elements f the books of claims, bring to life the underlying elements and drivers of change
  • Closely monitoring claims performance, identifying emerging trends and changes in claims behaviours
  • Supporting the creation of all necessary MI, working with Claims Analytics and Commercial Analysts, as well as external suppliers, to ensure that the MI is appropriate, timely and accurate
  • Actively supporting our Commercial Manager to delivery our claims strategy, implementing agreed initiatives which will ultimately support our goals
  • Working collaboratively with all other project teams in respect of projects and initiatives which incorporate elements impacting our book of claims - providing support and input to ensure the success of the project
  • Owning key parts of the commercial initiatives where required

    Strong analytical skills and data visualisation skills (Excel and Power BI as a minimum) with the ability to manipulate and interpret data to bring clarity and insight into commercial performance
  • Strong commercial understanding and focus
  • Experience in underwriting insurance pricing practices and segmentation, and/or customer claim management
