Full Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Claims, the Claims Management Support Executive (CMSX) is responsible for assisting the department's management team with various routine and non-routine administrative tasks. This will include, but not be limited to various reconciliation exercises, invoicing the department's suppliers, reviewing estimates and processing various payments. Moreover, the CMSX maintains and updates the department's training and process manuals and track the learning and development progress of all team members, thus helping to ensure the department does not fall short in any internal or external Training and Competency audit. This will also mean liaising with Team Leaders and Technical Specialists to ensure they're delivering on their training plans., support the Claims management team in a semi-autonomous manner to ensure all routine and non-routine administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Including, but not limited to: monthly reporting, panel performance analysis and more.

  • Bordereaux Utilise internal systems to generate, balance, ratify and distribute monthly bordereaux to our underwriters.
  • Training Manual Draft and/or maintain appropriate content for the department's training manual(s) including, but not limited to: Claims Management Software, Process Maps, Product Knowledge Sheets and Compliance material.
  • Learning & Development Conduct regular audits of department Learning Folders to track learning progress and achievement of all departmental staff against learning plans.
  • Action Audit Recomendations Assist the Claims Management Team in the implementation of remedial actions identified by internal and external audits of the function.
  • Supplier Administration Support the Claims Management Team to undertake the routine and non-routine administrative tasks associated with our suppliers to the function, including but not limited to: payment approvals, reallocation of incorrect payments, chasing delegated authority agreements, float top ups and setting up importing functions.

    A good level of education (min. 5 GCSE Grade C+) with at least 2 years' experience of working in a legal expense insurance claims environment. Good working knowledge of MS Office applications. Excellent numeracy & literacy skills. Graduate in a relevant discipline
