Full Job Description

Travelers are currently recruiting for a Claims Service Provider Manager to join our team based in London or Redhill.

You will lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of a Vendor Manager programme for Claim Europe. You will be responsible for the TPA management of Lloyd's and Company processes ensuring that we operate within the regulations required by internal and external bodies at all times. You will also manage a small team of specialists.

Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). This policy may be changed at the Company's discretion.

This role is eligible for a £2500 new joiner bonus. If you are successfully referred by an employee at Travelers Europe, both you and the person who referred you could be eligible for this bonus.

What Will You Do?

  • In partnership with all relevant stakeholders, you will be responsible for the identification, onboarding and management of Service Providers to deliver claim related services.

  • You will manage the implementation and operation of any new and existing Service Provider solutions in line with all company requirements.

  • Be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with all of our Service Providers on panel.

  • Be required to work closely with all business partners to ensure that the Service Provider panel is fit for purpose.

  • Have a track record of ensuring that all Service Providers are supplying a best in class service, where they are not, be capable of swiftly identifying and executing remedial action.

  • Have a track record of engaging with end users to obtain relevant actionable information as well as using management information to drive superior performance.

  • Be jointly accountable for ensuring that Service Providers are used only where appropriate and the scope of their role is limited to activities where they add value.

  • Co-ordinate and communicate Service Providers performance results to all levels of the organisation as appropriate.

  • Be responsible for ensuring that there is a continuity of service being provided by Service Providers to our customers.

  • Work in partnership with the Enterprise and Audit functions to ensure that we are adhering to all minimum standards surrounding the use of Service Providers on all Company and Syndicate accounts.

  • Be responsible for ensuring that all required oversight occurs within the prescribed time frame or is appropriately flagged, escalated and resolved.

  • Have a strong track record of communicating clearly to influencing peers and senior leaders.

  • Be capable of building a high performing group of individuals to achieve specific objectives.

  • Be a point of contact for any new rules or changes to existing rules in relation to the Service Provider operational environments including Lloyd's, the PRA or the CBI., Private Medical Insuran ce: On commencement of employment, you are eligible for single cover provided by Travelers, with the option to add cover for your dependents, at your expense through payroll deduction.

    What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
  • Working knowledge of financial control principles (e.g. risk based analysis)

  • Technical knowledge of spreadsheet and database software.

  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • Vendor management, financial control or risk management experience preferred.

  • Technical claims/ quality management experience in the Insurance Industry.

  • Strong experience in successfully handling multiple priorities.

  • Basic knowledge of I90, Openbox+ and Lloyd's claims systems is preferred.

  • Be capable of supporting across all areas of Claim operations when required.

  • Be a team player and involve all relevant partners in the decision making process.

  • Having attention to detail is essential.
