Class 1 Night Trunk Driver

The position of Class 1 Night Trunk Driver involves:

• This will involve trunking from Heathfield to Birmingham, reloading and returning to Heathfield.
• You may also be required to cover internal trunking.
• Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
• Completing daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
• Working closely with the network hubs.
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customer's expectations.
• Attending regular training sessions.
  
  Essential skills required for Class 1 Night Trunk Driver:
• Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence with at least 12 months experience.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of Double Deck Trunking.
• Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Working to deadlines.
• Confident, polite and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
  
  Salary for Class 1 Night Trunk Driver is between £39,351pa - £44,358pa, (including night shift allowance) and MORE! depending on hours worked.
• Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 19:00hrs to 07:00hrs with a 45 minute break
